Plastics

In 2015 alone, all countries combined
in producing more than 380 million
tonnes of plastic. To put that in
perspective, that roughly equals the
mass of two-thirds of the world’s

Cans

The world uses around 180 billion
aluminium cans every year, which
equates to 6,700 cans every second.
Globally, aluminium cans are the
largest single use of aluminium.

Glass

Glass left in landfills can be incredibly
harmful to the environment due to
complications such as contamination
and differences in manufacturing
processes.
